DR. BONOMI: We have learned that targeted therapies for cancer appear to provide a kinder, gentler, more patient-specific approach. Vaccines meet those criteria. In the years to come, we can expect cancer vaccine strategies to evolve continuously and we can anticipate that they will afford another important therapeutic option for patients.
